The short version

Rainshadow does not collect, sell or share personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics in the app.

What stays on your TV

Your settings (layout, photo size, timing, background, color, texture, grain, captions, clock) and the addresses of the photo feeds you add are saved only on your Fire TV device, so the app opens the way you left it. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Photo feeds

To show photographs, the app downloads public Tumblr RSS feeds and their images directly from Tumblr. Those requests come from your device, so Tumblr receives the information any web request carries, such as your IP address, under Tumblr's own privacy policy. Rainshadow does not run a server in between and does not receive these requests.

Children

Rainshadow is not directed to children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
